I am Nick Singh, and I am running for City Councillor in Ward 1, Brantford. Since 2015, Brantford has been my home, and over the years I have built strong connections with people throughout our community.
I am running because I genuinely want to serve my neighbours and help bring positive change to Ward 1 and Brantford as a whole. My campaign is focused on the issues that matter in our everyday lives:
Maintaining, upgrading, and expanding our vital green spaces and recreational parks for local families.
Advocating for practical, accessible housing initiatives alongside responsible municipal tax relief.
Enhancing safety for our youth and seniors while keeping our streets clean and well-maintained.
Fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion across all Ward 1 neighbourhoods so every voice is heard.
Ward 1 covers Brantford’s west end — the neighbourhoods around Shellard Lane, Colborne Street West and Dundas Street West. It is home to Wyndfield Park, D’Aubigny Park and Shellard Neighbourhood Park, along with St. Gabriel Catholic Elementary School and Assumptions College School. These are the streets and spaces I am asking to represent on Brantford City Council.
